Sold mine with 9000 miles on it in 2015 (2012 that I bought brand new) never had 1 issue. I changed the chain case every 1200 miles lubed and adjusted the track every other ride and adjusted the belt when needed. Never even changed the plugs.

From the times I've ridden it I can say the following: Pros: * enough power to be fun to ride. * doesn't "feel" super heavy on the trail. * comfortable to ride. * normal 4-stroke stuff -- no oil, quiet, etc. Cons: 850 blew up. So my 2022 assault 850 with 1255km blew up the other day. No reasons at all was going on a nice straight and just shut down. I guess the top and the bottom end are gone. What would cause it. Dealer is saying codes show over heating but it was running 100 to 110. Sled had never been over heated ever.

The Turbo 130 has a bit more of a rumble at idle compared to the 900 N/A but once up to speed, say 15-20 mph, most all of the engine sound disappears and most of what I can hear is the track, even though I have a Silent Drive II. The Turbo 130 is fast. Fast enough for me and certainly faster than the 900 N/A.

Approximately 8 turns out from seated is a good place to start. The air mixture screw leans or richens the air/fuel mix at idle up to 1/8 throttle. Turning the screw in RICHENS the mixture by blocking off incoming air. Adjust yours to 1-1/4 turns out from lightly seated. Brp knows but these 850 are far from 4 stroke reliability. Probably better than the old 800 mills, but still not great for a 25k initial purchase price. It all depends on how much you ride. 9600kms could be a lifetime for some riders and they will praise the motor.I would like to throw a couple springs in though, as this really helped my 900NA.
